FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What CommissionAPI is, who it is for, and how it works with the networks and advertisers already in this market.

What is CommissionAPI?

CommissionAPI is a performance monetization API. It gives developers and publishers one standardized interface to discover eligible offers, generate tracked links, attribute conversions and manage earnings across multiple performance channels, instead of integrating each affiliate network, advertiser and performance program separately.

Who is CommissionAPI for?

Three groups. Developers, publishers, apps and AI products that want to monetize what they already distribute. Advertisers that want performance-based distribution into software channels. Affiliate networks and platforms that want their approved inventory to reach software publishers through a normalized interface.

How is CommissionAPI different from an affiliate network?

CommissionAPI is infrastructure that sits between approved performance programs and software publishers, not a replacement for the networks. Underlying provider and advertiser rules still apply, and offers are only exposed where the publisher, traffic source and distribution model are eligible for that specific program.

Which monetization models does CommissionAPI support?

CommissionAPI is being designed to support commerce (CPS), SaaS (CPA and recurring commissions), lead generation (CPL), pay-per-call, subscription revenue share, and selected direct advertiser offers — all behind one interface.

Can AI agents use CommissionAPI?

Yes, that is a core design goal. An agent can send intent, country, category and context, and receive eligible offers, program information, tracking capability and the commercial model in a machine-readable form. This lets an application make a useful recommendation and monetize an eligible transaction transparently, rather than scraping or improvising affiliate links.

Is CommissionAPI available yet?

Not generally. CommissionAPI is pre-launch and currently onboarding its first network, advertiser and developer partners. The API surface is published as a developer preview and may change before general availability.

How does CommissionAPI work with existing performance networks?

By preserving their controls rather than routing around them. CommissionAPI intends to uniquely identify downstream publishers where provider infrastructure supports SubID or equivalent attribution, distribute offers only where the provider and advertiser permit the traffic model, and preserve source identifiers throughout the click and conversion lifecycle.

How does CommissionAPI handle compliance and traffic quality?

Publishers declare their properties and traffic sources, and those declarations are matched against each program's permissions before an offer is made available. Prohibited behaviour includes fraudulent clicks, cookie stuffing, unapproved paid search, unauthorized trademark bidding, incentivized traffic where prohibited, fake leads and artificial calls. CommissionAPI may suspend integrations, withhold disputed commissions and share relevant traffic information with providers or advertisers where agreements and law permit.

What does CommissionAPI cost?

Commercial terms are not published yet. CommissionAPI is pre-launch and pricing is being set with its first partners.

How do I get access to the API?

Apply through the early access form. Applications are reviewed, and partners are contacted as the launch programme expands.

Which languages and tools can I use?

The API is plain REST over JSON, so any language works. The developer preview documents Python, JavaScript and cURL examples, and an MCP server is planned so AI agents can consume the catalog as tools.

Who operates CommissionAPI?

CommissionAPI is a brand of Sivi Quant Labs Private Limited, a technology company focused on building advanced software and AI systems.
